This Rocks

I'm a size 10/12 and I have narrow hips, which means I can fit into most designer clothes. However, up until two years ago, I was a good size 16. It was always really depressing to find that the clothing I loved wasn't available.

Now, a new store in Manhattan has come up with a brilliant concept. True Boutique carries amazing designers -- including Dallin Chase and Cloak and Dagger -- but in sizes 00-16, so more girls can shop.

I really hope this idea takes off. Good luck to Katie, the owner!

Ok, Ok... I want to know what you did a couple years ago to flip from a size 16 (which I am, and stand at 5'8" with basically an average, proportional frame) to get to 10/12.

... walking? Lifestyle change? And the link about the store is very cool, too.

I'm 5'8" as well. Honestly, I cut back the teensiest bit when it comes to desserts and portions, and I walked on a treadmill five times a week for an hour at a time, ensuring my heart rate never goes beyond "fat burn" level. If it goes too high, you burn carbs, not fat, and you don't lose any weight.

Also, I am just really happy with my life. Once I kind of just accepted who I was, regardless of my weight, it started to fall off.
